Purpose of Foundation
The Center for Innovative Higher Education (CIHE) was established in April, 2014 to achieve
Sungkyunkwan University's long-term goal of becoming a global leading university. For this goal, the
CIHE is devoted to develop new visions, strategies and objectives for the success of higher
education, and to conduct research on innovative model of higher education.
The CIHE will make a constant effort to spread the Sungkyun model of innovative higher education
through successfully cultivating creative global leaders. This outstanding education model will be
completed by student-oriented and open platforms of convergence education, and by quality management
of undergraduate education at the CIHE.
